Population Projections

The Bureau of Statistics calculates July 1 population projections for every community in the Northwest Territories.

The projections incorporate assumptions regarding fertility, mortality & migration patterns. These assumptions are reflective of historial patterns, as well as recent trends observed for the Northwest Territories.
